Lee, what an honor and thrill it is to have you here today. I know you have so much to share with us, so let's begin.
What led you to this work?
[00:03:30] Speaker B: It's funny because I feel like my fork in the road sort of came when I met your work which is really interesting because I had just sort of transitioned out of corporate and I had started my entrepreneurial path. And I. I don't even know how I came in contact with a course I did with you, like, 15 years ago at your apartment in New York.
And that was just the beginning for me of just kind of knowing there was. There was more depth to my destiny. But I was sort of surrounded by a little bit more of the superficial, looking good, chasing success. And I just. My soul was sort of starving and I. I fell on your work, which was so beautiful because that was at the beginning of, I would say, my. My internal exploration journey that came to, you know, finding destiny, which doesn't happen overnight. You know, it was kind of like a curvy road and all always evolving. But, yeah, your work really led me more into.
I was already in movement, but then I was like, there's still something missing, you know, focusing on movement alone.
And then I started learning. I remember you saying, you know, we stuff our lives and we stuff our bodies. And I was like, yes, I do that. You know, And I was like, I need to start unstuffing. And that really was, for me, the beginning of funny enough work that I. That I do most of now, which is more on spiritual, holistic nutrition.
But I. I think it really did. Like, your course that I did was really the beginning of the unstuffing movement for me, which then you get all these moments of greater moments of clarity when you're not always, like, not just food wise stuffing, but, you know, like stuffing your schedule and stuffing your environment. And I just stopped chasing. I was tired of chasing and for no real fulfillment, you know, but on the outside, everything looked kind of fancy.
So that really was more my discovery process in the beginning of the unwinding and the unraveling and the unstuffing and getting more clear around.
One of my mentors I remember said, like, when you're not sure what your purpose is, it's always in service.
And I was like, huh?
You know, I had worked for companies like l' Oreal and Johnson and Johnson, and at one point I was like, how many mascaras can I physically, you know, tribute? I don't even really wear a lot of makeup. It just. It was no longer aligned with my values.
So I made some significant shifts, which weren't easy, you know, because sometimes that means the breakup of a relationship. For me, that that was the case, it might mean physically moving. A lot of times it does. Your intuition is like, if you really Want the conscious path, you better make sure you want to sign up for it. And I remember doing a course with Carolyn Mason. She was like, I don't even want the conscious path. I just want to teach about it. No. Because not everybody is prepared to make the decisions and the choices that come along with it. And I think my soul signed up for that path, which means, you know, I.
I did sign up for a challenging path, for sure. But where I get my most joy is supporting and serving others.
And, you know, money is just one form of energy and one form of being able to circulate that beautiful life force energy and heart high heart energy. And that seems to be where my work has landed me and where I get, you know, you look at what do people come to you for?
And that seemed to always be one of the areas that people would come to me for. Like, they would just tell me their challenges, and they wanted more abundance, but they were stuck or they're always too busy.
So I was like, the universe always leaves clues, and I tend to always be the mentor archetype, you know, Like, I can't run from it. So I think that has led me to, you know, I've always been a mentor, but the beautiful money work that I do is really all of my passions brought together, and it's very aligned with what I learned from your work.
[00:07:40] Speaker A: Wow, that is so amazing. I'm just. I couldn't be more excited to continue to open up that conversation and just want you to open up your engines and share with us, because I feel. I can feel it all. It's brimming and in this idea that maybe. And you'll get to this later, but that we're just, you know, too stuffed to receive, like, and even monetarily, we're too stuffed to receive anymore. We're so full of other stuff that was out of the way. So the stuffing is that resonates so strongly. Frame and. And what you said is so brilliant. I just want to underscore and spotlight it for a second. This. I. That when you sign up for the conscious life, that what you actually have to take on is they're not necessarily things that you would have signed up for if you knew they came with it. And that is so true. When you and I have both gone through the ends of big marriages, you know, relationships, and.
And have had to make choices in our lives that have been in perfect alignment with that conscious life, despite how hard the challenge is there.
[00:08:45] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:08:46] Speaker A: All that's also important and knowing because this is everyone who's listening to this.
[00:08:51] Speaker B: Who's.
[00:08:51] Speaker A: And you know, everyone who's listening to this is on the conscious path to some degree there these things are coming up for them. It's whether it's relationships have to fall by the wayside and just. Or just. Just social circles that people move in, or it is something more serious, a family member that, you know, those kinds of relationships, them ending that, that's very, very hard, obviously, and how to negotiate that. But knowing that we have to be in our integrity, we have to live a pure path. We have to see what our potential is. And if these things are preventing that from happening, we have to let them go. So I want to. I actually don't want to speak very much.
[00:09:30] Speaker B: No, I love.
[00:09:31] Speaker A: But. But I would love for you to tell us your philosophy and maybe in the. In the most comprehensive way possible, lead us through what most people are doing that is preventing that abundance.
[00:09:46] Speaker B: Well, I think the biggest shift that I made was I made, you know, a lot of money in my corporate executive years, but there was zero fulfillment and there was zero time, and I was completely misaligned with values. But I had a fear.
It's always the fear, right? Like I had a fear that there was nothing better, you know, or a conditioned belief that if.
What. If what I love leads me to being broke.
And that was really a fear that. And again, I didn't. It's like we don't think outside of the box, you know, the creative flow of divine life force. Like, you talk about this all the time, but if it's not flowing, money's not going to be flowing, you know, and if we have stuckness in our creative energy, we can't get to that next level. And the first thing for me that I evaluated was I'm living completely misaligned with my value system.
So, yeah, I may be making good money on paper, but there's no fulfillment. And I think that's the one thing. And I had this woman who. Her name was Tamma Keefe. She's an author and she was a lawyer making like a lot of money who quit her job overnight to pursue writing. And she was like, I'll probably be broke, but this is what my passion is. And she said, well, look at how good you are at something you hate.
Imagine how amazing you'll do at something you love.
And I was like, you kind of have to get to a place where you're like, you got one incarnation.
This is not a rehearsal. And what do you have to lose? And for me, I sort of had to. You almost have to get crushed like fine wine. But you have to get to a place where you're like, is this really why I incarnated?
Or am I living at 2% of my potential?
And you have to get a little bold and courageous because if you have the call in your soul to do something or to, you know it within you, you have greatness.
It's almost a sin to not explore that.
But it requires us to not be the prostitute with our archetype and let the prostitute lead where we're doing stuff because we're afraid that we won't have enough money.
And that's the challenge. Like, I know a few people just this week made their prostitute archetype, made choices because of fear of not having enough money.
And that's never going to turn out great, but there's that temptation, you know. So I'm not saying sometimes we don't have to make short term decisions because we need to pay our bills, like that can happen. But we have to make sure it doesn't become a chronic state of us always kind of pimping ourselves out. Because there is an underlying fear of losing security.
And that is for most people what runs their whole life, that fear of losing security. And we don't even realize it. But if we look at like the movie, the bee movie for kids, I remember watching that movie with my stepdaughter and I was like, this is not bees. Like, this is how they've conditioned humans, you know, And I, it kind, I had difficulty watching it because I'm like, this is our planet. You know, we, we're so conditioned to not aim higher or to settle because we know in deep within us there is that fear of losing security.
So when we have security, even if it means we're lack of joy, we're probably going to keep it going and keep that record running.
But I just, you know, you kind of have to get to that place where like, I don't want to die with the music still in me.
And I think that starts the path of beautiful money and that wakes someone up to be like, is this all there is? Well, it doesn't feel very magic, you know, and the same methodology you have with your beautiful work, like, I really took so much of that into my own path. It really does translate into all dimensions of life.
But I just, you know, I would get requests about, you know, like, how can I translate what I really want to do into money? And I just was like, here. You know, I just had this ability to be like here's what you do. And you know, don't just think about one income stream. And I just would like make their plan for them. And that just brought me so much joy and that led to book beautiful money.
So I know that's probably a long winded answer, but.
[00:14:12] Speaker A: No, that, that's brilliant. I love it. So one of the things that's come up for me is how like how different, how complicated life has become in the last generation. So I feel like when I was a kid and even a young adult in even my 20s, it seemed like financial framework was really straightforward and very basic. You know, you had your home, your car, your food, maybe some insurance and your taxes sort of done and everything else was extra. So if you had a basic salary of somewhere, you know, even in the realm of 30 to 60 thousand dollars, you were going to be okay.
Now the complex of expenditures is like it's just added exponentially. I guess what I'm getting to is on the one hand there's the requirement for income is so much greater.
[00:15:06] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:15:06] Speaker A: Expenditure is obviously so much more rigorous and then the simplicity of earning a living and just there's so many in today's world, you have to, for example, in my case, I don't want to live my life on social media. I don't want to have to or to hire a thousand people to create that image and project. When I make my green juice, I want it to be in ceremony for me or who I'm with and not have to capture everything, I think because I'm almost like every person a little bit in the sense that like I can see what's required and then what, what's being asked of anyone who wants to have their own business today and not be in the corporate world. It's almost like there is this whip is being cracked on you and, and if you don't want to subscribe to that or you don't want to have a whole team necessarily to do that, it's so much more complicated today. So I get in theory and in practice how being a clear channel, living your truth, being in alignment would theoretically bring a very harmonious life of beautiful abundance.
But then now you add all these extras. Have you found a way to crack that code?
[00:16:21] Speaker B: Well, I think it comes down to the simple secret that the way to crack the code is either you got to leverage people or you got to leverage money.
And I think it comes down to I'm the same like I, I minimally am on social media. I don't like to be on Technology, I very much limit my laptop time. I probably could do way better if I was in front of technology all day.
But the way that I map it out is you have to be, you have to be more in your power today than you maybe had to be 10 years ago when it comes to finances and also be more creative around money. So we don't really have, if we want to live a little bit more creatively, then we have to get creative with our, our income as well. And that probably means we can't just maybe five years ago we, it could, we could have gotten a little lazy with our money and one income stream would be totally fine. Whereas now, no, we have to step into the next level of power when it comes to money.
And I usually recommend people work up to 10 income streams, doesn't mean 10 businesses, but come up with 10 ways you can earn income.
As an example, you know, like with our yoga studio, I could have just opened yoga, but I was like, how do I maximize my little square footage in here and add reformer and add a detox room. And so I was already thinking when I this is just one example, but in a small little studio, how can I have 10 income streams in here? So my brain is on active creativity all the time. And that's really the energy that we need to bring into whether we're an entrepreneur or not. Sometimes if somebody has a corporate job, we get a little lazy with our creative energy.
So we look at our salary, that's what we make in a year. Whereas we probably could have 10 other income streams coming in even if we have a corporate role. But we get lazy with our creative energy and then our money gets sort of capped.
So I think the whole formula that we want to crack is where is creativity flowing and where am I blocking it and how could I step into my power more to come up with creative ways to be channels of money magic?
And so I work a lot with clients to come up with 10 ways based on what they're already doing. It doesn't have to be go get a day job or get another part time job. But it could be like, what are you naturally good at that people will probably pay you for?
And a lot of people that I talk to, they have at least two skills that they, they should turn into a mini business, even if it's two hours a week. So I will help them with that.
Today a lot of people are also thinking outside the box in terms of like, you know, acquiring assets. Ten years ago it might have been more income, whereas today it's more about multiple assets. You know, not just looking at the bank, but looking at land and rental properties and going in with other families to get a rental property. You know, it's like creative ways to be your own bank is kind of the idea, you know, and that's kind of the, the, the, the ideal that, that I always aspire to, like be my own bank and lend out, be the lender.
[00:19:37] Speaker A: One of the things I really appreciate that you've said is you're calling it creativity.
And that's a mind shift for me because when I think about all those things that would need to be done, like, you know, having an online store, for example, I could think of, I could think of 20 ways I could, you know, create more income stream. But there's the execution on all those things.
There's the finding out something's white label or putting your name on something. There's so many things that can be done, but then you're getting into all the layers that need to be done to do that, which takes away from your ability to meditate, to cleanse, to train, to sunbathe, to connect with the divine. Therein is, I suppose, the struggle. Traditionally people think of not doing things that may require work as being lazy. Whereas I would say there's, there are those of us who pursue peace and it's active peace. It's a desire to reach your full potential, which is like, you know, so much greater than spinning your wheels to be productive in a commercial way. And how to reconcile those things.
[00:20:44] Speaker B: Well, I think, I think there is, there is a value that like I am very much like you. Like, I cherish my solitude and my health time.
And I, when I work more to make more money and it takes away from that time, I am not fulfilled. I actually am in grief.
So sometimes it's not about more money, it's about a flow of energy coming in financially that brings you peace and that you're not seeking more, you're complete. And I had a good 10 years where I decided this amount is complete. It allows me to stay at home with my kids for 10 years and.
But I was pretty specific in my 20s to come up with passive income that would allow me to then stay, not work for 10 years. So there's that balance between being strategic but also being very clear on what that lifestyle looks like.
And I think that's where we are very aligned. Like I.
Having space is more important to me than having filled things in my schedule. And I don't, when I have a day with my Schedule is full. Like, I feel nauseous.
For me, Beautiful money for me is about giving me solid, like, beautiful free time and freedom in my schedule.
So I won't compromise that, you know, even if it meant I could have 10 membership sites and I could speak more. Like that was something. Speaking more, I was like, I like the idea of it. But right now it actually makes my body condense, not expand, because what it will require of me would make me feel like I'm sabotaging myself.
So that wasn't an income stream that I.
I look to pursue. You have to listen to your body.
You know, sometimes people are just like, I need more money. But why?
[00:22:43] Speaker A: So then with all that said, I would love to hear your philosophy, the way you see the big picture of what you do and, and how it all works, because it sounds like beautiful money that's almost like is the currency can be multiple, different, more than just money. So philosophy at large, tell us about that.
[00:23:05] Speaker B: Yeah, so basically, I kind of run people through a little bit of a system where the. The first part of the program is really getting clear. And I call it sort of the beautiful money cleanse. And that's really goes hand in hand with what you're talking about of the overstuffing in our life. Like, where is there no room for more greatness to come in?
Where are we filling our schedule with a whole bunch of things we hate or that aren't aligned with our values? So there's this whole letting go process of letting go of what is no longer true. You know, maybe it was true five years ago, but now it feels like a lie.
And that for me was also a big aha moment with, you know, Carl Jung's work. With what is true in the morning of your life becomes a lie in the afternoon. And for me, that was a big aha. And because sometimes we have a phase in life where being busy and being a little more yang doesn't feel wrong. You know, it feels good and productive. But then we may step into a period where yet more yin and more quiet and more honoring our body and honoring our sacred self feels more true.
So then we have to get a little more creative around income. If we, you know, some people, they might not need to make more money. They might be in. It might be enough, you know, but if there are like, single moms, like, I work with a lot of single moms who are like, I can't afford to just take a sabbatical, you know, And I already am a nurse, and I already work 10 hours a day. So with them we, we work on some. That's where creativity has to come in, right? It has to be translated to currency for them.
So we work on some ideas for. Okay, well, how much do you need to earn? What is your income goal? Like as an example, right now we should all be very clear on what our income goal is for 2024.
Not what am I going to make, but what is my intention, what is my expected intention. So usually in December, it's perfect timing right now because this is when I visually manifest next year's year for me. Like, what feels true?
What do I want to fill my time with? Who do I want to collaborate with?
What is my income expectation for next year? So I'll write that down.
And I am very clear on trying to set three specific.
I don't want to call them goals, but like specific lofty ideals or projects that I want to pursue. I don't do 10 in a year. I keep it very clear and aligned with my heart in terms of what are three kind of more lofty projects I want to do for the year, whereas 10 years ago I would have probably done 20 or 30. So it's like less, but with much more intention.
And then you can get more power behind that and you can animate and activate money much better than being chaotic and all over the map and committing to everything.
And you also talked about, you know, sometimes it means clearing your space in your life and relationships. It might mean you have less relationships or you have to cleanse your friends.
I think part of the beautiful money path is having a circle of in intention around relationships and not surrounding yourself with people who don't unconditionally support and love you because that can sabotage our money path significantly. So we don't think about that.
But it, everything has to be done with intention when it comes to beautiful money.
And part of that is who are we engaging with on a regular basis if there's not an unconditionally support, supportive relationship?
And that is for some people, very challenging because they might realize all their friends only love them when they're broke or only love them if they aren't excelling or accelerating or getting healthier. They want them to stay the same and they want them to stay a little broken because that makes them comfortable.
So everything in our life has to start to be done with intention when we're looking to create or animate spiritual money.
And I think what we, we don't tap into that potential because we're not conditioned to do that.
But it is something that isn't that difficult. It's just you have to become intentional and you have to start some practices that are much more aligned with truth and with what your path is. Like if somebody's off destiny path and you know all of their choices are not coming from high heart or they're messy or chaotic, it's going to be difficult to really pursue with power what we're really here to do.
It's really no different from how we live in other dimensions of life. It's just more focused. It all comes down to creativity, intention, serving and that energy of what can I give, not what can I get?
But also being intentional around self worth.
People don't write down like I, this is the biggest thing people say, well, how much should I write down for what I want to earn next year? Like they're looking to me to answer that question.
Right there is the challenge.
Some people do feel their worth. They're like, they don't have issues with that. They're like, I'm worth like a million dollars a year, but I'm making 20k.
So there's a gap there. Oftentimes for them, they're getting all of these downloads, of course, creativity and what to do. But then they don't manifest it in physical form. It gets stuck there for other people. They just, they, they commit to everything. Their path is so chaotic and like you would say like overstuffed that their life is too messy to be aligned with beautiful money. So they're going to have, they're going to be that person with five jobs and you know, 20 careers and 10 relationships. It really is a simple path of like going back to center, coming back home and just being more intentional around.
I can do anything, but I can't do everything.
And what, what is it that lights me up?
[00:29:04] Speaker A: It's great, okay. I love it all. There's so many things to dig into there. One is this inventory taking of what is disserving and underserving. One, everything that's, that's not in alignment. The people that, the things that can be standing in the way that exercise just to take an inventory on what is incoherent in my life.
Who are people that are doing exactly, you know, what you described.
They seem to celebrate me when I'm broken or they, they would not celebrate but, but maybe be present and, and give me attention, make me feel like I'm a part of something when I'm not in my true center. Something like that. So that, that inventory the things that we engage with that are not in alignment, that are incoherent. Finding all those things. So again it's like a big inventory exercise that because otherwise if you, if you're blind to certain things, you're they're going to be in your way and you're not going to get have the, the spiritual abundance. Then you, you said something very important.
You refer to the high heart center.
So finding that frequency, that beautiful pure frequency that is in the high heart center and it sounds like the vision for one's life. If the vision's coming from that frequency and everything about your life is about that frequency, you're on a good path.
[00:30:27] Speaker B: Yes, for sure.
You can't not manifest when you need it.
Sometimes it won't come in exactly when we want it. Right. But it will come in when we need it. And sometimes we have to develop.
We all are told to trust and have faith or the universe has our back, whatever we want to say. But we don't really practice it until we're broken, until we can't get out of a jam on our own.
We usually don't understand what it means to just trust the universe or trust God or whatever until we're like oh, whether it's health or money or relationship, I can't get out of this jam on my own.
[00:31:08] Speaker A: It's running everything and seems to be just fine until it's no longer able to.
[00:31:14] Speaker B: But oftentimes that moment of true something helped me get out of this is when our high heart tends to activate and we develop this faith that we just know we're going to be okay. And once that happens, we don't make choices from that fear of losing security which is more the primal fears that lead that run most people's record their whole life. But when we break free from that, then we can see what we're really made of. Then we can see what we're here to really do. Then we can really serve at a level that isn't from fear.
And I don't think a lot of people have really uncovered that. Like we're just getting to a place now in the world where I think more and more people are like effort. You know, I'm going all in now. You know, what do I have to lose? Like I they already last year I feel a lot of people got hit with their greatest friends fears or the last couple of years which was necessary. But I think now that they've hit that they're like I'm more emotionally free. I'm not as driven by fear as I was and so I think a lot of people are feeling this energy of great abundance in a deeper, more spiritual way than they would have a few years ago. And I also feel that 2024 will be very filled with abundant for those who have worked through or touched some of their fears over the last couple years. Because now it doesn't, it's not in the driver's seat anymore, it's still hanging around, but it doesn't lead one's path on a daily basis. And that's when you really start seeing really what you're made of. And a simple example would be, you know, I got called into a very high end hotel the other day and they're like, we need somebody, like, we need a yoga studio in here and like, can you run it for us?
And the old me would have probably been like, because I have the fixer and the saver archetype, I would have been like, no problem, I can fix this for you. But I was like, yesterday, I'm like, I'm not really looking for a job, but if you would like me to license you my studio, I would be happy to bring it into your hotel. So that's the difference between the energy of a little bit of fear around losing security and then we play a little small versus being in the driver's seat of abundance, which is I have so much to offer and I'm not willing to regress because of little shrapnels of money fears that maybe would have been there. So it's not that they're going to disappear, but we're almost going to graduate from them.
And we just have this trust that abundance is here for us, but we have to show up in the world in a much more powerful way than we did yesterday.
[00:34:00] Speaker A: And we also have to have that ability to see other options. That's hard to do when you have too much going on in your life. So the more we simplify, the more we can see that as a potential someone, you know, might not think of, of that option that you just described. But then you do work with people one on one to help them find solutions in their own situations, right?
[00:34:19] Speaker B: I do, and that's a good point because sometimes when we're in like a chronic state or acute or chronic trauma, like if we've, if we're traumatized, it is very difficult to be like channeling creativity. I almost feel sometimes that we just cap it off.
And in those situations it can be very difficult. And even if you get creative, it is coming from this desperate need to survive.
So it is really important. That's why having like a sacred circle of people around you who are,
[00:34:53] Speaker A: who
[00:34:53] Speaker B: are at a frequency that you are worthy of.
You know, sometimes we settle. And I know for me, because we have, and you've talked about this too on a lot of your webinars. Like we're, we're conditioned to want to fit in and be liked.
And that really limits where we can go on destiny's path if we always need to fit in, be liked and we can't handle someone not liking us. And I know for me that was something I had to work through because I would settle financially and an opportunity wise because I didn't want to ruffle other people's feathers or I didn't want to engage in conflict. So I would just kind of play passive because I was so conditioned to be liked and fit in. And I had to really get to a place where I was like, you're disempowering yourself every time you do that. But it was driving my record for a lot of my life.
And that was something I really got out of. One of the things I got out of what you teach. Because I think for women especially, we don't realize how much that affects our money story.
That need, that unconscious need to like be liked and fit in really impacts us financially.
[00:36:10] Speaker A: Yeah, I can see that it's choking. Steals the oxygen from your life. Could do that. Okay, there's a few questions that came in that I want to share with you if I may. Yeah. What strategies do you recommend for achieving energetic and physical organization when you feel all over the place?
And the second part of that same question is how do we start to release the, the energetic overwhelm?
[00:36:36] Speaker B: That's a really good one. So I think it is a little bit of a holistic approach writing down all the energy weakers in your life.
Because sometimes in our brain we may know there's a lot of them, but when we write them down, we. There's a lot of low hanging fruits that you could probably get rid of in a couple of moments or you can commit to getting rid of the next day. Like there's a lot of low hanging fruits that we just don't commit to getting rid of some of them might take a little bit longer, but I found just doing that list really helped me. And then little by little when I became aware there's something magic about writing it down that allows you to then get it out of your field.
There is also something very sacred about movement.
Once you're clear on what that energy leak list is, that is, is hoarding up your beautiful divine space.
Movement is really, really powerful to help you because again, you have this intention, I want to get this junk out of my trunk. Moving the body. There is a very slow sacred correlation between helping you get it out of your energetic field and moving the body. So on a daily basis, you know some of the practices that even you recommend, like the rebound or the chi. I do the Qi machine regularly. I still run on the treadmill because I, I visualize getting it out of my field and moving the body or yoga, whatever it is for you. But having a movement practice, I think it's also very powerful to have a few people, it doesn't have to be 10, but like a few people in your circle that are on a similar path to you because they will be very helpful in supporting you on the days where maybe you lose five friends because you're being authentic, you know, but you can't be afraid of that because they weren't really there for your highest good anyway.
So there will probably be a season of the. So the social circle will be smaller and just having a few people that unconditionally love you through that's really important.
So yeah, I think just making a list and then I like to give myself some things. I'm. I am a little bit all or nothing sometimes. So it's like these are gone like the low hanging fruits. I have to give myself a deadline with those ones because they're in my control.
Some of them aren't always in your control, but I would say like, let's say one of them is a job you hate or a relationship you're in that you know is over.
Sometimes you can't jump out of that in a day, especially if there's kids involved. But I do like to recommend setting an intention of dates and deadlines and calendars because there is something energetic about committing to like if my. When my corporate career, when I was in that I set a date of my birthday one year from the day where I knew it had to go.
But it felt like it was a little scary. But it gave me time to prepare, so I wrote that date in my calendar. So there is something very powerful about setting intentions around dates when it comes to things you can't change overnight, but you don't want them to lag too long because it will affect your physical health.
I'm working with some clients who are still living with partners they're separated from because of children.
And they always tell me how much it affects their physical well being. Then you get to a place of nausea where you know, your third chakra is like, this is like so unwell.
So it's just, you know, some things take a little more time. But setting dates is, is important. Even if it doesn't stick perfect.
But it is very important. So that's one of the things that the program goes through as well, is helping, helping to get rid of those things and then managing the overwhelm. Well, that's where rituals come in place in terms of mindfulness, in terms of do we have enough sacred time? Do we hold ourselves sacred enough of the day?
Because if the outside world is running our whole day, there's a problem.
There's a huge problem.
We don't hold ourselves divine, we don't hold ourselves in sacred sacredness.
So we're here as robots.
So that has to be the first commitment is that I hold myself sacred and then the rest comes into play. It doesn't have to be an hour, but like I'm gonna pray or meditate for a few minutes. I'm gonna. Some days when my energy, when that comes up where there's so much chaotic energy, I might have five baths in one day because I need to cleanse that energy out of my system.
I have gone on, I have booked flights to sunshine within an hour's notice when I know my field needs sun. Like sometimes we have to do drastic things to get things out of our field, but you also have to listen to your intuition because it usually will tell you what you need.
And then sometimes it's the very basic. Our cells are clogged with energetic waste, physical waste, you know, the whole. And that's the, sometimes the best place to start. And that was the case for me. It was like my cells were clogged not only with physical sugar and, and toxins, but all of Being a people pleaser for so many decades was so harmful to my cells that I literally needed to physically cleanse the body. Which is how I found your work.
[00:41:54] Speaker A: Yeah, there's so many competing reasons to keep us from that ability to be centered in our peace. Even if you greatly value it and you do make time for it. And it's. If one has children, it's a completely different game because you know, on the one hand you can, and I personally live very simply because I want to make sure I prioritize the peace and the, the connection with the divine and being able to do the things I know contribute to that highest potential. But if you have children to tend to at the same time, then you're thinking, wait a minute, are they. What are. While I'm doing this, are they maximizing their potential? And are they just, you know, quietly on a device and I'm forgetting or something, you know, so it's like, even if you're really on point and you've gone through, you've done a lot of work, you can still have that guilt slip in. Like, wait a minute, I'm in the sauna for a long time today. I've trained, I've done all these things for me. And so I'll often, like, restructure a world for Electra, for example, thinking I need to make sure that she knows who, you know, all these great people in history are by the end of the day to make up for the fact that I've been awol, doing the things I need to do for myself. I mean, just, just think, you know, to try to compensate.
[00:43:12] Speaker B: And I think, like, it's funny because, I mean, we don't spend much time together, you and I, in person. But my husband, I feel like he's list, he, he's heard me on your webinars before and he's like, there's not a lot of people like you. Like, I bought a colon hydrotherapy machine for my home because I had three little kids. And like, most people wouldn't do that, but I'm so committed. Like, I'll go in the sauna and let them play hockey outside of the sauna in my basement because that's what you got to do. You know, sometimes you do have to make these exceptions or like, I opened a yoga and Pilates studio because there wasn't one in my city.
And so if it doesn't exist, I'm going to make it, make it happen.
So sometimes you do have to take that leadership role and you won't always. Someone else isn't going to come and save us and make it all wonderful for us. But I know what it's like. Like I had a one, two and a three year old and I was like green juicing. And sometimes getting a little too extreme with my green juicing because it's like, oh, yeah, you know, I've got three little kids feeding off my aura. Maybe I'm not eating enough, so we find our place. But if center and home is our commitment, then I think what I've learned is not to be hard on myself, but to be aware much quicker when I've lost home.
And then I re jig my days and my, my life to kind of get back there. And you can only do that by getting simple, like simplifying.
[00:44:42] Speaker A: Well, this and this next question really piggybacks off of that. And it's very similar.
It's. We take on so much as women and then get burnt out. Where do we rebuild from a place of burnt outness?
I live only once on that.
[00:44:57] Speaker B: Yeah, it's like we have to get broken to get blessed. You know, it's kind of how it works. I think that's how we build boundaries.
When we do get broken, we almost get a little angry, which is healthy.
And then we build those boundaries that again. It's. I think it's a lesson in holding ourselves sacred.
And we, we set a boundary that's healthier so that it doesn't happen again. And not that it won't ever, but it will help happen much less frequently and we won't get walked over as much. So I think if we do go through burnout, that's almost like the getting back home. But we've been forced there.
And then it's like, okay, well we're addicted to busy. Like we can't. We don't know what to do with empty space.
Like we're so addicted to filling.
When we have simple and nothingness, we need to fill it because we don't know what to do. It's uncomfortable. So I think when we do get burnt out, it's almost like we've been forced to go back there. And then it's a matter of how long can we just sit with not having enough or. I know for me, when I get like that I usually do like a two night hotel retreat by myself.
I would I do that without kids?
[00:46:12] Speaker A: No.
[00:46:12] Speaker B: I could probably do it my home, but it's just difficult to do in my home. So I usually would do like a two night away sleep, have a bath, journal and just kind of get clear on where am I leaking?
You know, what's taking this energy to get me to this place because I got to fill those. Those holes.
[00:46:33] Speaker A: Yeah. It's almost like we need to say have we had enough silence today? Have we had enough?
Has there been a time where everything's just been quiet and been in the stillness?
And this is a perfect. So this is the third question, third and last questions come through, which is people speak about creating boundaries, especially with others. But how does one create better boundaries with themselves?
Reprogramming the mind to be lighter, I think is the part of the question, you know, because it is quite different. It's like, well, I'm not going to tolerate X, Y and Z in my field by way of others.
But how am I still having self talk or engaging in certain ways with my own devices, with my own devices that are undermining that ability to get clear and, and be at peace and be open and stuffed?
[00:47:28] Speaker B: Yeah, I mean I think we can't blame ourselves. I think, I think we've been trained from birth to be like that.
But I think in order to get there, in my opinion, you almost have to supersede the mind and kind of get to the heart.
Because I think yeah, you can train the mind and do all these like new kind of programmings and I know there's all these hookups and all these kind of things, but I think what you said is we just don't have enough quiet to even get to high heart.
So we're always trying to like, oh, we gotta meditate or I gotta like I need affirmations. And I'm not saying those aren't lovely, but I think the stillness is the path to the heart. And I think the challenge is we're trying. We need to make the journey from the head to the heart. And I just don't think anybody has enough. They don't prioritize that journey enough. There's no space in their life. I know for me it's more solitude. And I'm also an empath. So if I don't have a lot of personal time, I don't lead well. I'm not a good mom. Like everything falls apart. So I think when we know, especially for people listening who are empaths, it's non negotiable to have time without people in your field. Even at night. Like I can't have people touching my body when I'm sleeping. Like I'm. So that's my recharge or field time. But I wouldn't have known that unless I took the time to really investigate who I am and what I need.
And so that comes down to time with ourselves. We just don't prioritize it.
[00:49:01] Speaker A: Love that. So we have the inventory taking, we have the need for quiet and time with the self. To get to know the self. We need that time on a regular basis. We need to be constantly aware of what could be draining us, could be, you know, and enemy at the gate, as it were. Those are all really important. And also the. Just because this comes up, it's so, it's so important.
Time free time, space time space openness. These are things we talk about in the body and in life. That they're our friend, we want them. And it's funny because people say, well, if you're busy, people say, oh, that's good. And you're thinking, no, it's not good. I'm like, trying not to be busy. I don't want to be busy is not good.
Or, you know, it's.
People are filling themselves all the time. There's always. Everything has to be. If there's an empty space, it has to be filled. If there's a home, it has to be. You know, I have ornaments everywhere. If there's a. There's a table, you got to put something on it. There's a mantle. Better decorate that mantle. You got an empty wall. No, you need some artwork on that wall. Granted, there's a time and place for all of those things, but the problem is we live in a culture where it's always like, fill, fill, fill. Which leads me to the next thing I'd love to. For us to speak about and get your perspective on is the manifestation and connected with abundance and creating abundance, creating wealth through manifestation. And I personally have. It's rubbed me the wrong way over the years because I feel like all it's doing is making me. People put spirituality and our technology that enables manifestation together with something that's grotesquely materialistic.
So it doesn't work because can't exploit the. All that is. But the attempt to manipulate that kind of divine magical energy in order to have all these things. But it comes back to value. So it's just. I mean, something. Whatever comes up for you in that realm.
[00:50:57] Speaker B: Yeah, well, I think we. There is an underlying belief that, like what you said in the beginning, if we're not doing, we're not making money.
And we don't realize how deep rooted that is.
So I know for me being crazy busy, I had this fear like, well, that must mean to make more money, I'm gonna have to be sobered out. You know, that was my belief that ran, you know, my. My whole way of being.
But then I was like, okay, well, make. Make that true. Like, test out the other possibility before. You just always come to that conclusion.
And I did experience it was very uncomfortable to work through that fear. But it doesn't have to be that way. You know, I probably made the most when I was the least busy.
So I was like, wow. I did it more as an experiment because I knew my belief was, you know, not right. And I also had two parents who did jobs they didn't love. Like, they made good money. But my dad was a lawyer. He's like, don't ever become a lawyer. Because he was miserable in that. It was, it was not his archetype, but he was good at it, you know, so I watched that. We have to realize that we've really created these limitations on our life because of the belief that we have to burn ourselves up to make money.
But that's not the case. But it does require strategy and it does require, like, maximizing our gifts and our creativity and having people help us to put a little plan together. Because if we are relying on linear income where we're trading time for money, we are going to be limited. But in today's world, when I see what some of these 20 year olds are charging for coaching and what they make in a month, I'm like, sometimes I think it's a little bit obscene. But then I'm like, wow. They had no limiting beliefs around asking for that. You know, I, I'm blown away by people that really, really believe their worth and what they charge and they're getting it and they're getting hundreds of clients. For me, I have to feel deeply authentic and in integrity.
That is such a value for me. There was a time when I was so tired that I could have taken on 20 more coaching clients. It has to be an integrity for beautiful money, for that path. So, like, I knew at one point my body was super exhausted. Could I have made a ton more money taking on 10 more clients? Yes. But it felt so out of integrity because I was like, I'm so on in a deficit that I will learn to live off of what I have right now.
So sometimes we have to make those choices that like, I will pick my health first.
And sometimes there is a time to be financially behind because we're learning some lessons.
So it's not always about money loading in. Right. Sometimes it's like we have to be able to be very intuitive to feel like, okay, am I really not stepping into my creative potential? Or is it a time of rest right now? Or maybe it isn't my biggest reaping season, but it is supposed to be a time of holding myself more sacred. But then I'm going to exponentially leap into abundance. So we have to be able to navigate the chapter we're in in our own lives as well.
But I think one of the beauties with beautiful money is there's a sea of opportunity for everybody.
But it isn't just linear. You know, you can't just look at money.
So it's almost like that, like for me I typically tend to kind of read someone's org field a little bit and I just sometimes get a knowing of, like when I know a little bit about their story and what their gifts are. It's not that hard to come up with ways to earn income. And it doesn't have to be a burnout model, but they do have to learn some lessons around how to leverage others. We have to not be control freaks because that is a big money leaker. We have to understand that there are things we have to let go of to allow and let money in.
And we sometimes don't realize what things are holding money out of our belt. And I've noticed just from clients, like a lot of them that are very controlling, they have a difficulty sometimes understanding or getting leverage because sometimes they're still doing a million things that they should be letting go of.
So that's just a tiny example. But I do find some of the traits of the ego. Although for some people, they can make a lot of money, but it's not necessarily fulfilling. On the beautiful money path, it's actually the opposite. We have to just almost let the soul lead, but we also have to intelligently create strategy and maximize creativity and really step into our power.
[00:55:36] Speaker A: I love how creativity keeps on coming back because this conversation has been very meaningful for me because I think I've seen the money structure, the monetary structure paradigm, as a prison for people. I think of it as like, people are, you know, they're not doing things they would love because they, because of this paradigm, they're. They don't feel free. They're too afraid to leave a relationship, a marriage, or, you know, raise their children or whatever it is without being. Because they're afraid that they won't be able to survive comfortably and not be a victim of this monetary paradigm. And something I'm picking up on, which I think is intentional, but I'm wrong, is that it's like, okay, yeah, you know, here's this really kind of rotten paradigm that would otherwise bury people.
But we're not going to focus on that. We're going to focus on a way to creatively find a solution to not being thrown into like a sense of being crushed by it.
We're going to find a creative solution, and that's a mindset that we're going to have, despite the fact that this might at large be hard on people.
But everything that doesn't kill us makes us stronger. Let's find a solution. So I love that because what it gets us, it enables us to do is Acknowledge that it might not have been a very nice thing to be presented with at birth, to be told that you better figure it out or die, because. Or live, you know, in a way that's really uncomfortable and not have a fluffy duvet at night and not have a view and not have any of these things that you'll make life really lovely. You might be on the streets if you don't figure this out. You don't go to school and get the grades and get into the next step after step after step.
But you're saying despite that, there's almost like a, a magical field where one exists and that can coexist, but we can transcend it.
[00:57:31] Speaker B: Yeah. And I think we're all alchemists. And again, everything is created in the energetic realm first before it gets down to the physical realm. It's typically our somebody else gave us these conditioned beliefs that are keeping us in a prison.
And we got lazy with our creative mind, which is our, the biggest gift we have with our creativity. We all got lazy with it. So we look at our life and we were like, well, as the most creative most people get is like, how can I create a new course or maybe change jobs? Like that's about as creative as we get because we're not challenged enough. When you look at people that have either near death or they have had to live out of their car because they did lose everything, you ask them about creativity. They had to get creative to a level that is like off planet creative. And it's because they got crushed. So those of us who haven't gotten completely crushed, we get lazy with creativity and we don't think outside of the box enough. And so our money kind of gets lazy too. And I think a lot of times that's part of our journey is to find that helps us discover destiny. Because if we haven't turned the taps on fully, we probably haven't fully discovered it yet. You know, we need to be doing okay, but there's a whole other realm of potential.
But I never like, I would never make a decision for money unless it's a big yes. With every cell in my body spiritual.
Are there times where I might have to take like a short term project or something that. Or like my accountant makes me do things that I don't love? Yeah, we all have to do things like that. But I wouldn't make a choice for money first.
And I think for a lot of people, our external society built around knowing Maslow's hierarchy of needs and fully understanding that if we have A fear of losing security. We're not going to raise the bar for ourselves. We're going to stay mediocre, you know, and we, we never really even commit to testing what our potential is. And I think when we're on the course to high destiny, beautiful money just flows. Doesn't mean all the time.
But we're just going to know when we need it, it's going to show up.
Or what do we need it for? You know, you kind of like graduate from the material world too. Like, I have done years of vision boards in my 20s and 30s when it was all the stuff, and now I don't care about that at all. For me, it's, it's the, the sacred time that's the most precious.
So I don't even shop. I never really shop other than for healthy food. That's about it.
[01:00:10] Speaker A: I guess the reason I mentioned what I did in the beginning is that even if you're not someone, someone who has a hankering for material things, the basic living today, 2020, it's. Yeah, it's not what it was in our parents generation. And it's unattainable by basic means. Like you said, family occupation and a basic, relatively modestly paying salary.
[01:00:37] Speaker B: Yes.
[01:00:38] Speaker A: Four would have been fine on that. Now it's like you have to get creative. You have. And so it's being in that space, like, okay, so. So they're throwing this at us. All right, let's alchemize that. Let's, let's go. Let's go one stage higher each time with it, with our creativity to figure it out. Because they might keep on coming with this. Do we want to think that the next thing they throw at us is going to crush us? No, we know that we're going to find a creative solution, but it keeps it light because I think finding financial solutions feels heavy.
Finding creative solutions.
Be like a child having fun, playing a game.
[01:01:10] Speaker B: Yeah. Like as an example, this is just one tiny example. Where I live, there's a lot of very healthy people and most of the families have gone together because a lot of them, they love eating organic. But like yesterday, my organic grapes were 25 and one dragon fruit was $12.
That was the price. So a lot of families here are going together and buying farmland, and then one of the moms is doing the farming and whoever loves it is doing it. So that wouldn't necessarily have been something on any of their radars a few years ago, but for them, that's getting creative with. Not only are they all going to Grow their own food for 20 families. But they're going to start a co op and start selling the food. So that, and that's, you know, that's a tiny example. Or like next door I have a lady who has bees and chickens and she made this gorgeous little shed and she literally probably makes $200 a day in the summer. Just, she just has a little bucket you put money in.
There's not even anyone manning it. But she just did it because, you know, she's like, I need a little extra money.
But it, it probably makes her more than if she just got a day job.
So these are just tiny things that we wouldn't necessarily have thought of. But I think sometimes collaboration is also a beautiful creative way to come up with ways to not only lower expenses, but come up with creative ways to create more wealth. It just might. We might not be in a time that we're supposed to do everything individually as families anymore too. Right. It's like this time of collaboration.
[01:02:47] Speaker A: Yeah. We've all, we've all spread out so much now we need to come back to not. I mean the family itself is separated. So we've got all this individualism and no. The family structure, no family units all been broken out. It's like back to community. Which is wonderful. I love you. Keep on returning to service.
And that is so important. If we careful and so conscious about what we actually want, resources, need resources for and that whatever we do to attain them is coming from a high heart sense of service and a higher destiny for all.
I mean it just transforms everything. It just feels, you can feel it. Ooey gooey goodness inside.
[01:03:27] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:03:28] Speaker A: It's gotta be good. Oh, and so I was gonna say truth and service. Those, those two. So everything you're describing, individuals who are coming to a sense of what you know of solution, it's coming back to how life actually thrives anyway that we've become so far removed from. Yes.
Service and truth and community.
[01:03:48] Speaker B: And I think there's also that balance between like a couple things. One, like action and allowing.
So sometimes we've been conditioned to be in overaction and we're never allowing because we don't feel comfortable letting the universe deliver. We'll do 20 years of burning our bodies out to make money and then we never balance that out with the reaping part of like sitting back and sitting in our yin and trust. We don't trust that we're taking care of. That's one of the issues. But I think it's also like that Hustle energy just, just doesn't work anymore. Right. I have found that the time and space we're in right now, it really does backfire.
And I think that hustle energy really is, I think before we could almost be in a bit more of the fake illusion that it's working and it may have resulted in some short term gain, but I think it just really backfires now. But one thing that I do think is important is that there are a lot of people that are looking at, I can't, you know, I really am tight, you know, financially and I need to focus on getting rid of debt and lowering expenses because everything is so expensive.
And I think that is important. And that's where like the low hanging fruits, there's always things you can cut costs. Like when I've been in situations like that, it's like what's most important, my health and organic food. I don't need anything else. So I would just make sure that was just where I spent my money. And a lot of times too, like all these automatic payments, payment things like subscriptions and websites, we forget how many things automatically take money out of our bank accounts. So I remember once I just did this inventory of like all the, the companies that were automatically taking money out of my account. And a lot of people have like subscriptions to all these like streaming channels and all of that. So you can easily cut a lot of expenses by just going through what companies take money out of your account. But I think there's also, we, it's important to honor the expenses. But when we over focus on it, we do cut creativity off and we do, we're not allowing abundance to come in. So I think we have to honor that. Yes, it's important to, to look at what we need to clear, but not at the cost of expecting beauty to come in as well.
We still have to expand and we still have to make sure that we're honoring our gifts and our zones of genius.
What I see a lot with clients is if they're so stressed about debt, they totally don't focus on bringing in new money. They're totally just focused on debt. And that's when they get into that vicious cycle of nothing new is coming in because they are blocking it with being too attached to the debt and the expenses.
[01:06:35] Speaker A: That makes sense. Yeah. Wow.
I mean, yeah. The thing is it takes attention and the right attention, the right mind space and heart space to address this. It requires the time and attention.
And when a person does that work, they can do a great deal of it. On their own they might need a hand. In which case one of your books, one of your courses coming to work with you one to one. I feel like that would be such a breakthrough for so many people just to get a different perspective on it that they can't see on their own. Sometimes we can't see things or you know, we live our life, we're so used to it. There's so many calcified things that we don't. We have, we're not even aware of that are in place in our mental patterns and everything that, that someone else can step in and say somebody really cares and really knows the terrain. That combination is really important. It can't just be like a friend who you know is a different person. Actually have to have an expertise in this. You can come in and do that. Lee, how can people find you and do you have anything coming up that you would like to tell us about so that anyone can get involved?
[01:07:39] Speaker B: Yeah. So any mentorship support? I mean my book Beautiful Money kind of is more of like a four week program. So it's an easy way to go through this work. But they can go to limarie jacobs.com and I am doing a beautiful money masterclass on New Year's Day for anybody who might be interested and they can just send a message through my website if they're interested in doing that. But I did that a couple of years ago where it was New Year's Day and I thought, oh, I don't know if anybody's going to be. But the energy of starting, you know, with beautiful money on the first day of the year was so powerful.
[01:08:14] Speaker A: So you know what's so cool is we have our super speed cleanse for the Pure Power platform on the first Monday of every month. And it turns out that that's actually the first as well.
[01:08:28] Speaker B: Oh really?
[01:08:29] Speaker A: Imagine. And I was thinking about how it would be such a great thing to just think of it as fully comprehensive.
[01:08:37] Speaker B: Yes.
[01:08:38] Speaker A: Re removal of all that doesn't apply restructuring on all levels. So it's perfect for Anyone on the PurePower platform who would like to also do this beautiful money clearing.
That would be an amazing combination to jump into these.
[01:08:56] Speaker B: Yeah. And I feel like it's really fun when you're. Your body is being cleared and you're. It helps you be in your power for expecting beautiful money and, and making the plan. That's something that I love helping people with. You know, they can kind of give me a little bit of scenario about where they're at and I just get all of these ideas, you know, to be able to support because it's. It's not that difficult, but we do have to kind of clear the old, and we also have to step into the new year with a strong body as well.
[01:09:28] Speaker A: Well, it's just. It's more commitment to alignment because we're going to be aligned. All these things have to be aligned. And then it's easy because we're thinking the same. We have the same mindset that we're applying to our finances, to our relationships, to our body, to our work and everything that we're doing. So it's just like. It's another way to amplify that state of vision, of frequency of everything.
So I love that combination. Is there anything else you'd like to share with us before we wrap?
[01:09:58] Speaker B: No, I'm just honestly, like, it's such a blessing for me to be here. And, you know, I love all of your work and all the courses you do, and it's been hugely, you know, transformational in my world. So anything I can do to serve your community, I'm all in.
[01:10:13] Speaker A: That's a beautiful thing to say. Thank you. We appreciate that so much. And I think. I know that once this circulates, there is going to be a request for around two. I know the questions are going to flood in because we really just touched the surface today.
[01:10:26] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:10:27] Speaker A: And we got in. It's the complexity of the concept from how we cope with the world financially and how your philosophy meets that is a very big subject that we've begun to unpack. But I know that there's going to be such a desire for more, and it's great that you actually have.
There's a portal to you that people can actually reach you directly and. And thank you for being of service in that way. Because it's one thing to know that this needs to come into alignment. It's another thing to know that somebody can help you do that.
[01:11:00] Speaker B: Yes.
[01:11:01] Speaker A: So thank you for being that person in that role. And this has been so phenomenal. Thank you. Lee, you're an absolute angel. You're glorious, truly are. And I see your aura. You glow with everything that you have been bringing into alignment. So it's. It's very special to have a mentor who is of that level of embodiment and consciousness.
[01:11:27] Speaker B: Thank you so much.
